Matwork
​Our Matwork classes are where the Aniko Pilates journey began back in 2020 and they remain a favourite. You'll be bending, flexing, rolling, twisting and rocking your way to becoming your stronger and more flexible self.

How many people in a class?
up to 6 people

Are there any pre-requisites?
No, but this class won't be suitable for you if you're pre/post natal, have a spinal condition, have trouble weightbearing on your knees or find it difficult getting up and down from the floor. We recommend you check out our Studio Apparatus classes instead.

​What's expected of me?
Commitment to at least one class per week: 50mins of your week where you can focus on you.
Patience with yourself: practice takes time.
For best results: aim for 2 - 3 classes per week if you can.

Can I attend casually?
Yes, but we highly recommend attending at least one class a week. Consistency is key.​

Advanced / Archival Matwork
​Also known as Joseph Pilates' Return to Life Through Contrology order. This class is a mix of movement, play and questions as we work towards completing Joe's original 34 matwork exercises.

How many people in a class?

Are there any pre-requisites?
You've been practicing Pilates on a weekly basis for at least one year, have a general understanding of the archival exercises and know how to modify or adjust the exercises yourself.
​
​What's expected of me?
Commitment to at least one class per week: one hour of your week where you can focus on you.
Patience with yourself: practice takes time.
For best results: aim for 2 - 3 classes per week if you can.

Can I attend casually?
Yes, but we highly recommend attending at least one class a week. Consistency is the key. ​
