Terms + Conditions

**MEMBERSHIP DETAILS**

  • The billing period is weekly and starts when your membership begins. Eg: if you start on a Monday your membership cycle will be Monday - Sunday. If you start on a Wednesday your membership cycle will be Wednesday - Tuesday. If you need your membership renewal day to be changed to align with other payment commitments please email hello@anikopilates.com.au

  • You're expected to attend a minimum of one (1) class per week to remain consistent with your practice, however, we understand there will be the odd occasion where you can't make your usual class.  Unused classes will roll over to the next weekly billing cycle and then expire. They must be used in addition to your usual weekly class allocation and can't be used while the membership is paused. If you consistently let your classes roll over and don't adhere to the minimum of one (1) class per week we will need to review your membership type.

  • All payments are final. Once payment has been taken for the week, no scale downs can be made and and no refunds.

  • All memberships and passes are non-transferable and may not be shared with another person.

  • The class schedule is subject to change at any time. All terms of the membership apply regardless of schedule or teacher changes.

**PAYMENTS**

  • It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient funds and correct card details are available by your scheduled debit date. You can update your details directly through the Momence app; we do not have access to your card information so cannot do this for you.

  • If your payment fails the system will retry two (2) more times every 48 hours. After three (3) failed attempts your membership will be suspended until the outstanding payment has been made. There are no discounts or refunds for days you are unable to book into classes due to your membership being unpaid.

  • Membership prices will increase on an annual basis and members will be notified up to eight (8) weeks in advance.

**MEMBERSHIP CHANGES, PAUSES + CANCELLATIONS**

  • Membership payments can be paused for a minimum of one (1) week by providing at least two (2) business days notice. All requests must be sent to hello@anikopilates.com.au
We do not accept verbal or text message requests. Please ensure you include the dates you'd like your membership paused for.

  • To cancel your membership please email hello@anikopilates.com.au at least three (3) days prior to your membership cycle renewal date.

**CLASS BOOKINGS + CANCELLATIONS**

  • All sessions have a twelve (12) hour cancellation policy. Bookings cancelled outside of this period are credited to your account to reuse (subject to the roll over clause). Bookings cancelled within the twelve (12) hours of the class are forfeited - no exceptions.

  • We require a minimum of two (2) attendees for each class to go ahead. If there's only one member booked you may be asked to move to a different session; if there's no other suitable time available a credit will be added to your Momence account.

  • You are responsible for managing your own bookings/cancellations directly through the Momence app. We do not accept cancellations via email, text message, social media or verbally in class. Cancelling in the app also means that waitlisted members will have a chance to get a spot in class.

  • If you don't cancel your booking prior to the start of class you will be marked as 'No Show' and will incur a $15 No Show fee. If this becomes a regular occurrence we may need to discuss a more suitable membership for you.

  • If you attend the same class(es) each week with minimal cancellations you may request a recurring booking. Please email your request to hello@anikopilates.com.au with your preferred class day/time. Please be aware that if cancellations become a regular occurrence you may lose the privilege of having a recurring booking.

  • All classes have waitlist spaces available. If a space becomes available in the class the first person on the waitlist will automatically be added to the class. It is your responsibility to check whether or not you have secured a space in class. If you no longer wish to be on the waitlist please remove yourself to avoid losing a class credit due to no show.

**CONTACTING OUR TEAM**

  • While the studio is open seven (7) days a week we are only online Monday to Friday. Due to the extended periods we're in the studio teaching please allow up to 24 hours (excluding weekends) to receive a response.

  • The preferred method of contact for all queries is via email (hello@anikopilates.com.au) as this the best way for us to efficiently manage your queries.

**STUDIO GUIDELINES**

  • Please ensure there's no zippers/metal hardware on your clothing or excessive jewellery as this damages the apparatus upholstery

  • Please leave your shoes at the door (we spend a lot of time on the floor so want to keep it as clean as we can)

  • Out of respect for your teachers, other members and for your own wellbeing, please don't come to class if you're unwell. You'll be politely asked to leave the studio.

  • We strongly encourage you to practice barefoot so please ensure you have clean feet. Grip socks are totally optional.

  • Place your belongings out the back of the studio to help keep the studio space clear.

  • Please have your phone/smartwatch on silent for a distraction-free class.

  • Weight change/control isn't an intended outcome of Pilates practice. But you know what is? Getting stronger and increasing flexibility so we can be more mobile legends in life. Let's keep the weight and diet chat out of the studio please.

**CLASS GUIDELINES**

  • Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your class time. We use the time between classes to take a breath, have a snack and prepare for the next session. Your teacher will join you when the session officially begins.

  • Be mindful that other members might not be up for a chat during class so give them space to focus on their movement. Instead, allow yourself and other members 50 minutes to focus on Pilates.

  • We don't believe there's a right or wrong way to move. Ask yourself instead, 'am I challenging myself? Am I listening to what my body needs right now?'

  • You don't need to apologise for asking questions or feeling like you're taking up too much of your teachers' time during class - we're here to support you in your practice!

  • We don't care if you sweat but if it makes you feel more comfortable please feel free to bring a small towel to class.
